AI virtual assistant supports agriculture
According to Resolution No. 57 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation. Dien Bien province has just announced major problems in science, technology, innovation and digital transformation to be selected for resolution in 2026.
Notably, Dien Bien has included in research the development of low-altitude space economy associated with logistics, agriculture and tourism, rescue and relief.
Specifically, the province will deploy a controlled testing mechanism (Sandbox) for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs/Drone) and low-flying vehicles.
This technology is expected to create a turning point in many activities such as: supporting smart agricultural cultivation, transporting logistics and essential medical supplies to remote and isolated areas, as well as rescue and relief work.
In addition, the use of UAVs will also help diversify the province's experiential tourism products.
Dien Bien also builds virtual assistant (AI) software to support agriculture and digitize the agricultural sector.
This mobile application will provide a series of practical features for farmers such as: Direct written or visual Q&A with AI about farming methods, pests and diseases, or planting area development policies.
Along with that, provide accurate weather information according to the user's GPS coordinates. Integrate the "Madening Diary" feature, allowing AI to make adjustment recommendations in real time.
But with mobile applications, the system also includes an administrator website to update digital maps (GIS) to manage growing areas, soil and approve agricultural products on e-commerce channels.
Health, smart tourism
Regarding tourism strengths, the province is developing in a smart direction, building a Immersive 360 exploration experience room, automatic presentation software.
The Immersive 360 exploration experience room is expected to have an area of 200-300m2, with a capacity of about 100-150 guests per trip. This multimedia space will integrate multi-dimensional sound and AI smart interaction capabilities.
In addition, an open-ended automatic presentation software will also be developed to be applied to any tourism product destination in the province.

To improve the quality of clinical examination, Dien Bien will deploy artificial intelligence applications to support disease diagnosis.
This dataset will be used in studies on the application of biological modeling in the field of computer vision.
Implementing in-depth data processing and labeling techniques to create a clean, standardized data set, helping AI models to learn anatomical and functional characteristics most accurately.
Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Science and Technology to be the focal agency, presiding over and coordinating with relevant units to receive, summarize and appraise proposals and solutions to implement these major problems.
