The Department of Home Affairs of Lao Cai province has just issued a document to administratively sanction Luong Ha Trading Company Limited for violating the National Technical Regulation on occupational safety and hygiene.
According to the decision, Luong Ha Trading Company Limited (address: 6th Floor, No. 116 Le Lai Street, Lao Cai Ward) with Mr. Bui Dang Quang as legal representative, violated regulations on labor safety in stone mining and processing.
Violations by enterprises are handled according to Clause 9, Article 22 of Decree No. 12/2022/ND-CP dated January 17, 2022 of the Government on administrative sanctions in the field of labor, social insurance and Vietnamese workers working abroad under contracts.
Based on current regulations, the Department of Home Affairs of Lao Cai province decided to fine Luong Ha Trading Company Limited 65 million VND, and at the same time required the enterprise to strictly comply with the decision.
If the company fails to voluntarily implement within the deadline, the competent authority will carry out enforcement according to regulations, and for each day of late payment of fines, the enterprise will be charged an additional 0.05% of the total amount of fines that have not been paid.
The company has the right to complain or initiate an administrative lawsuit against the penalty decision according to the provisions of law.
The State Accounting - State Treasury Department, Region IX is responsible for collecting fines; at the same time, the Investigation Police Agency of Lao Cai Provincial Police was notified to coordinate in monitoring compliance.
