Many recommendations from businesses
The State Bank of Vietnam held a conference to promote bank credit (March 20), contributing to promoting economic growth in Region 11, including 5 provinces in the Central Highlands.
Mr. Pham Dong Thanh, Director of An Phuoc Automobile Transport Company Limited (Dak Lak) said that businesses operating in the transportation and logistics sectors have always received support for loans and financial services from credit institutions.
However, he also pointed out the reality that the value of assets on leased land is still low every year, especially fixed assets that have been built and depreciated for many years.

Mr. Thanh suggested that banks consider the commercial value of leased land to create favorable conditions for businesses to borrow capital. At the same time, businesses hope to borrow to compensate for working capital for un borrowed invoices within 6 months.
In addition, he also recommended that credit institutions allow mortgages of receivables. In fact, many businesses provide goods services but only receive payment after 75 - 90 days from the date of issuance of the invoice.
Therefore, mortgaging debt collection will help businesses have more mobile capital to maintain operations.

Mr. Le Duc Huy, Chairman of the Board of Members of Simexco Daklak (under the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee), suggested that banks increase the limit and reduce loan interest rates for farmers and cooperatives to support chain-linked production and improve product quality.
Mr. Huy said that the unit has exported coffee to reduce CO2 emissions and hopes to have suitable green credit packages to promote this trend.
In addition, Simexco Daklak is investing in the production of branded finished coffee. Mr. Huy recommended that banks implement preferential credit packages for deep processing technology, especially with preferential interest rates for modern technology lines. This will help increase the value of agricultural products, create jobs and increase local budget revenue.
The State Bank will support businesses
At the conference, credit institutions in the area answered, acknowledged and considered resolving questions and recommendations from businesses.
Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam, Mr. Doan Thai Son, said that in the coming time, the State Bank will promote administrative reform, creating favorable conditions for people and businesses to access credit capital.
At the same time, the banking industry will continue to transform digitally, develop technology products in credit and payment, promote consumer credit and enhance policy communication.
Mr. Son also emphasized the role of departments, branches, sectors and local authorities in implementing synchronous and effective solutions to support businesses and people in the Central Highlands to stabilize production and business.
Thereby, contributing to sustainable socio-economic development and realizing the set growth target.
