On the afternoon of September 17, Quang Ninh City People's Committee will organize a meeting and working session with the business community to listen to, dialogue and remove difficulties and obstacles in production and business activities, and at the same time assess the results of implementing Resolution 68-NQ/TW of the Politburo.
Through the conference, the city wants to recognize, honor and express gratitude for the contributions of the business community, entrepreneurs, and cooperatives to socio-economic development in the area.
One of the key contents is to assess the implementation of Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW dated May 4, 2025 of the Politburo on private economic development and the action plans of the City Party Committee and the City People's Committee.
In particular, city leaders will directly listen and dialogue with businesses about difficulties related to institutions, mechanisms, administrative procedures, investment, land, finance, taxes... Thereby, creating an open environment, strengthening trust so that businesses can feel secure in investing, expanding production, and doing business sustainably.
According to the request of the City People's Committee, the conference must be organized in a focused, substantive, effective, economical direction, focusing on solving work, avoiding formality.
Heads of departments, boards, branches and Chairmen of People's Committees of localities are required to proactively review and grasp in advance the recommendations and difficulties of enterprises in their managed fields and areas; and at the same time prepare the content of answers and specific solutions to remove obstacles for direct exchange at the conference.
At the same time, agencies propose key solutions and tasks in the last months of the year to develop the private economy, promote public investment projects, non-budget projects and improve the efficiency of administrative reform.
In which, the Economic Zone Management Board focuses on policies to support production and business units in industrial parks and economic zones. The Department of Industry and Trade prepares contents on processing, manufacturing, logistics, electricity, coal, gasoline and oil and domestic trade.
The Department of Construction is in charge of transportation, warehousing, transportation, seaports, construction materials and civil works construction. The Department of Agriculture and Environment focuses on processing agricultural products, especially high-tech agriculture, environment, land and site clearance.
Quang Ninh City Tax Department prepares content on tax support for businesses, and at the same time assesses the budget contribution results in the first 9 months of the year of business sectors including state-owned enterprises, FDI enterprises and non-state enterprises. The report will list some enterprises with large contributions, specific contribution amounts and industries with large proportions of budget contribution.
Sub-Department of Customs Region VIII focuses on solutions to facilitate customs clearance, promote digital transformation and improve the efficiency of import and export activities in the coming time.
