Simplify dossiers and procedures to fill industrial zones and clusters

Gia Lai - Simplifying administrative dossiers and procedures will expand opportunities to attract secondary investors to build and operate in industrial parks and clusters.

On August 18, the Gia Lai Provincial Economic Zone Management Board said that the unit and the People's Committees of communes are focusing on attracting investment for businesses to build and open factories and workshops in industrial zones and clusters in the area.

Attracting investment into industrial zones and clusters is both an assigned target and task, and associated with administrative reform, simplification of input dossiers and procedures, creating the fastest convenience for businesses.

Industrial zones and clusters are filled, and many factories are put into operation, creating jobs for local workers and contributing taxes to the state budget.

According to statistics, Gia Lai currently has 13 industrial parks, of which 3 parks have been filled, 4 parks have completed technical infrastructure and 5 parks are implementing compensation and site clearance; 1 park is in the attraction and investment invitation phase.

Industrial parks in the area have attracted 400 secondary projects, with a total registered capital of more than 69,170 billion VND; the average occupancy rate reached 41.47%.

The province also has 48 industrial clusters that have been put into operation with an area of more than 1,170 hectares, attracting 489 projects, with a total investment capital of over 23,600 billion VND; the occupancy rate reached 80%.

Currently, there are still 36 industrial clusters basically filling the area of industrial land; 22 industrial cluster projects with about 350 hectares of industrial land still have room, and are being focused on investing in infrastructure completion.
