Russia continues to gain control of 2 more settlements in Ukraine

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced progress in Donetsk and Zaporozhye along with data on the loss of nearly 1,500 enemy soldiers in 24 hours.

The Russian army has controlled 2 settlements in the Donetsk People's Republic and Zaporozhye region in the past 24 hours, within the framework of a special military operation in Ukraine, the Russian Ministry of Defense said.

Units of the Central Operations Group have liberated the Andreyevskaya Obshchina settlement in the Donetsk People's Republic through decisive combat operations. Units of the Eastern Operations Group have advanced deep into the enemy's defense line and liberated the Novosoloshino settlement in the Zaporozhye region," the ministry said in a statement.

According to the latest data, the Ukrainian army has lost about 1,450 soldiers in battles with Russian forces throughout the front lines. Data shows that Ukraine lost about 260 soldiers and one armored fighting vehicle in the area of responsibility of the Northern Operations Group, more than 210 soldiers and one armored vehicle in the Western Operations Group area, about 205 soldiers and one armored personnel carrier in the Southern Operations Group area. Along with that are more than 390 soldiers and 2 armored vehicles in the Central Operations Group area, more than 345 soldiers and one tank and two armored vehicles in the Eastern Operations Group area, and about 40 soldiers and a US-made cannon in the Dnepr Operations Group area.

The Russian Ministry of Defense also said that tactical air force, attack drones, Russian missile and artillery forces have attacked logistics centers, fuel infrastructure, energy and transportation that the Ukrainian army uses, assembly workshops and storage locations for ground robot vehicles, drones and unmanned boats, and temporary deployment areas of the Ukrainian armed forces and foreign mercenaries at 144 locations.

Russian air defense forces intercepted 797 drones, 12 smart bombs and four missiles from multiple rocket launchers, including two HIMARSs manufactured by the US and two Vampires manufactured by the Czech Republic.
