According to the Ministry of Construction, the inauguration and groundbreaking of 234 works and projects is not only an event of profound political significance, but also an opportunity to summarize the 5-year journey (2021 - 2025) to implement a breakthrough in the strategy of developing synchronous and modern infrastructure according to the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress. Thereby, affirming the socio-economic achievements that have been achieved, while creating new momentum and motivation for the next development stage, marking an important political milestone to celebrate the 14th National Congress of the Party.
The ceremony will take time to honor and reward at the state level collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "Promoting synchronous and modern infrastructure; practicing thrift, fighting waste", the peak emulation period "500 days and nights of emulation to complete 3,000 km of expressway", as well as in the implementation of investment and construction of key national infrastructure projects.
The selected works and projects all have strategic significance, clearly demonstrating the efforts to overcome difficulties, development aspirations and the will to rise up of the entire nation; are vivid evidence of the country's infrastructure development achievements, while affirming the consistent determination of the Party, State and people in the goal of building a prosperous Vietnam.
It can be mentioned that a series of large-scale infrastructure projects have the impact of "changing the state, changing the situation", selected to start construction on December 19, 2025, such as the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway construction investment project; large-scale infrastructure projects associated with urban development, landscape such as the Olympic Sports Urban Area construction investment project and the Red River Landscape Avenue construction investment project in Hanoi City.
