At the same time, the Provincial People's Committee also established a working group including representatives of the Provincial People's Committee office, representatives of the Department of Finance, and representatives of the Ho Chi Minh City Institute for Development Studies.
The tasks of the Advisory Group include: advising the Provincial People's Committee and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on strategies, plans, projects, and policies for medium-term and long-term economic development; annual socio-economic development plans;
Analyze, forecast, evaluate the situation and results of implementing the socio-economic development plan; strategies, projects, and policies for economic development; on that basis, advise the Provincial People's Committee and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on measures and solutions to improve the effectiveness of implementation or propose amendments and supplements to mechanisms and policies to achieve the set goals;
Advising and recommending to the Provincial People's Committee and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee solutions and timely response measures to unusual fluctuations in the domestic and international socio-economic situation.
The consulting group also gave opinions on major economic reports and topics submitted by the Provincial People's Committee to the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo, the National Assembly, the Government, the Prime Minister, etc.
