According to the Resolution just issued by the People's Council of Dong Thap province, the province applies a support level for linking production and consumption of agricultural products up to 10 billion VND/project.
This Resolution stipulates 7 support contents and levels. In which, supporting the cost of consulting for linkage building: the linkage chairman is supported 100% of the cost of consulting for linkage building but not exceeding 300 million VND, including: consulting, research to build linkage contracts, linkage projects, plans, production and business plans, market development.

Support for infrastructure serving linkages: linkage projects are supported with 30% of investment capital in machinery and equipment, construction of infrastructure works serving linkages such as: factories, wharves, warehouses serving production, preliminary processing, preservation, processing and consumption of agricultural products. The total support level does not exceed 10 billion VND for each linkage project.
Supporting the construction of agricultural extension models: supporting 50% of costs for seeds, equipment, and essential materials (petal feed, fertilizers, pesticides, veterinary drugs, chemicals) to support farmers in building agricultural extension models. The total support level does not exceed 500 million VND for each linked project.

The Resolution also stipulates support for training, coaching, technical guidance; support for vocational training; support for seeds, materials, packaging, product labels; support for 40% of the cost of transferring and applying high-tech agriculture to production, applying technical processes and synchronous quality management according to the chain. The total support level does not exceed 1 billion VND for each linked contract and project.

The Resolution applies to farmers, farm owners, authorized persons for farmer households, cooperative groups; individuals, authorized persons for groups of individuals, households registering business households; Cooperatives, Cooperative Unions; enterprises; other organizations and individuals involved in implementing policies to encourage development, cooperation, and linkages in production and consumption of agricultural products.
