Mr. Pham Tan Phuoc - Vice Chairman of Truong Quang Trong Ward People's Committee said that from July 8, 2025 to December 10, 2025, African swine fever broke out in 340 households in 21 residential groups in the ward, with a total of 2,007 pigs destroyed, with a total weight of nearly 109 tons.
Total support funds for facilities damaged by the epidemic are over 4.2 billion VND. In which, support funds for production facilities damaged by African swine fever from July 8, 2025 to July 24, 2025 (spending level according to Decision No. 13/2023/QD-UBND dated March 29, 2023 of Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee) are over 1.2 billion VND.

Funding support for production facilities damaged by African swine fever from July 25, 2025 to December 10, 2025 (expenditure level according to Resolution No. 11/2025/NQ-HDND dated September 24, 2025 of Quang Ngai Provincial People's Council) is over 3 billion VND. Total funding support for people participating in disease recovery is over 253 million VND.
According to Mr. Pham Tan Phuoc, in phase 1, the ward has supported facilities damaged by the epidemic with an amount of over 3.6 billion VND, from local contingency funds.
The additional funding needed to support facilities damaged by epidemics is over 685 million VND. To have funding to support affected production households according to regulations, Truong Quang Trong Ward People's Committee has proposed the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Provincial Department of Finance to summarize and advise the Provincial People's Committee to consider and decide on support.

On September 24, 2025, at the 4th session, the 13th Quang Ngai Provincial People's Council, term 2021 - 2026, passed a resolution stipulating the level of support for overcoming animal diseases in the province.
According to the resolution, the specific support level for livestock establishments includes: buffaloes, cows, horses, goats 50,000 VND/kg of live weight; sheep, giraffes 55,000 VND/kg; pigs 40,000 VND/kg; poultry (chickens, ducks, geese, geese, pigeons) 35,000 VND/kg. People participating in epidemic prevention without budget salaries are supported with 400,000 VND/regular day, 500,000 VND/holiday, holiday, Tet; people receiving budget salaries are supported with 150,000 VND/regular day, 300,000 VND/holiday, holiday, Tet.
