Accordingly, there are 8 industries that need to be encouraged and prioritized to support the implementation of linking production with product consumption in Dong Thap province, including: 1. Rice industry. 2. Fruit tree industry, including: mangoes, star apples, durians, sapodilla, pineapple, dragon fruit, custard apple, grapefruit, oranges, cherry, jackfruit, longan, rambutan, banana, guava, plum, tangerine, lemon (including passion fruit).

3. Coconut industry. 4. Vegetable and color industry: vegetables, tubers of all kinds, edible mushrooms, watermelons, melons, lemongrass. 5. Ornamental flower industry: flowers and ornamental plants of all kinds. 6. Lotus industry. 7. Livestock industry: pigs, cows, goats, poultry (including quails). 8. Seafood industry: brackish water shrimp, krill, brackish water fish, freshwater fish, offshore seafood exploitation, pangasius seeds.

The Decision takes effect from January 15, 2026, Decision 2628/QD-UBND dated October 7, 2021 of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Tien Giang province on issuing a list of important agricultural industries and products that need to be encouraged and prioritized for supporting the implementation of linking production with product consumption in Tien Giang province expired.
