Ca Mau tourism during the National Day holiday on September 2nd is bustling, the number of visitors to tourist areas and attractions and participating in cultural, entertainment and recreational activities is increasing.
According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ca Mau province, during the 5-day holiday, from August 29 to the end of September 2, the whole province is estimated to welcome about 210,430 visitors, an increase of 74.3% compared to the same period in 2025 (120,730 visitors). Of which, international visitors reached about 3,890.
Total tourism revenue is estimated at about 250 billion VND, an increase of 98.4% compared to the same period last year, when revenue reached about 126 billion VND.
Among the total number of visitors to Ca Mau this time, about 36,000 visitors stayed at tourist accommodation establishments; about 172,980 visitors came to tourist areas, attractions, and relics for sightseeing and experience.

Dat Mui tourist area is one of the most attractive destinations with 34,179 visitors. Spiritual tourism attractions such as Quan Am Phat Dai, Tac Say Church, Hung Thien Pagoda, Giac Hoa Pagoda, and Siam Can Pagoda welcomed about 25,320 visitors.
Hung Vuong Square area and surrounding points, where the activities of the Culture Heritage Day and the first Ca Mau Provincial Hot Air Balloon Festival take place, attracted about 17,200 visitors.
Community tourism households in Dat Mui welcomed 13,384 visitors; the OCOP Trade and Food Fair at Thanh Nien Park welcomed about 11,100 visitors. Nha Mat artificial beach area, Bac Lieu Playboy House area and Phan Ngoc Hien Square each attracted about 9,200-10,060 visitors.
According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ca Mau province, the number of visitors increased sharply compared to the same period in 2025 thanks to the province organizing many large-scale activities and events during the holidays.
Notably, the 1st Ca Mau Provincial Heritage Culture Festival and Hot Air Balloon Festival with the theme "Convergence of cultural identity in the southernmost tip of the Fatherland", along with a series of activities to celebrate National Day September 2nd, an art program celebrating the 81st anniversary of the successful August Revolution combined with fireworks display.
Along with organizing events, the preparation of facilities, environmental sanitation, food safety, price listing and ensuring traffic safety are focused on by sectors, localities and business establishments, contributing to building the image of Ca Mau as a safe, friendly, and unique destination.
