Accompanying the private economic sector
On the afternoon of June 19, the Tax Department held a Conference to discuss solutions to support taxpayers in implementing the Resolution on private economic development, with the participation of representatives of associations, technology enterprises, tax agents and functional units in the Finance sector.
In his opening speech, Deputy Director of the Tax Department Mai Son emphasized: Developing the private economy is a strategic requirement, which has been consistently demonstrated in Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW of the Politburo, Resolution No. 198/2025/QH15 of the National Assembly and Resolution No. 138/NQ-CP of the Government. The Tax Authority clearly identifies its role as a companion and supporter for taxpayers to put these major policies into practice effectively, synchronously and practically.
The resolutions and action plans of the Central Government, the National Assembly and the Government on private economic development are breakthrough, comprehensive and consistent strategic orientations, affirming the pillar role of this region in the socialist-oriented market economy. To grasp that spirit, the Ministry of Finance and the Tax sector have proactively and resolutely implemented many action programs across the system, from policy making to implementation at all levels, with the motto of taking taxpayers as the center of service.
In recent times, the entire Tax sector has promoted administrative reform, modernized management processes, and developed digital technology platforms to serve taxpayers; at the same time, implemented the "Pikes month to support households and individuals doing business" to accompany the private economic sector in fulfilling tax obligations, especially the new regulations in Decree No. 70/2025/ND-CP and Circular No. 32/2025/TT-BTC. The focus is on the group of households and individuals doing business using electronic invoices connected to cash registers - an important step in improving transparency and convenience for taxpayers.
The implementation of tax policies has received active support from industry associations, technology solution providers, press agencies, local authorities and functional units under the Ministry of Finance. This is an important factor contributing to the initial results. However, in practice, there are still many difficulties, especially in bringing electronic invoices from cash registers to each business household, requiring close coordination and inter-sectoral efforts in the coming time.
In that context, this conference is a substantial forum to connect tax authorities with entities in the ecosystem: Industry associations, technology enterprises, tax agents, consulting units and the press. Here, many opinions were shared to propose solutions to remove difficulties, complete support processes, strengthen coordination and improve implementation efficiency in practice.
Building a modern and substantial tax ecosystem
We acknowledge the active support of associations, technology enterprises, newspapers and localities in spreading policies, supporting business households to access and implement new regulations. However, bringing electronic invoices from cash registers to each business household is still facing many difficulties. We need to continue to have the cooperation and contribution of the entire political system" - Deputy Director Mai Son shared at the conference.
practical implementation shows that, in order for tax policies to truly penetrate deeply into socio-economic life, in addition to efforts from tax authorities, there needs to be close, proactive and continuous coordination from intermediary forces.
These are indispensable links, including professional associations, tax consulting units, accountants, auditing and technology enterprises, which are playing an essential role as a bridge between state management agencies and taxpayers, contributing to the transmission of policies in an easy-to-understand way, supporting effective policy implementation, while reflecting practical problems, helping policies to be adjusted in a timely manner, close to the needs of businesses and people.
Concluding the conference, Deputy Director Mai Son affirmed that the Tax sector is committed to accompanying the private sector in the process of healthy, fair and sustainable development. The Tax sector also aims to become a reliable bridge between taxpayers and solution providers, contributing to building a modern and effective tax ecosystem, creating a solid foundation for private economic development.
