Accordingly, the Cao Bang Provincial Tax Department issued Notice No. 169/TB-CTCBA on temporarily suspending electronic tax systems to serve the upgrading to meet the restructuring, restructuring and reorganization of tax authorities.
Previously, on February 26, 2025, the Ministry of Finance issued Decision No. 381/QD-BTC on the reorganization of the Tax Department, accordingly, 20 Regional Tax Departments and 350 District-level Tax Teams will be established to replace 63 Tax Departments and previously affiliated Tax Departments.
To implement the new model, the Cao Bang Provincial Tax Department (before the merger) announced the temporary suspension of some electronic tax systems for upgrading and conversion from 5:00 p.m. on March 12, 2025 to 8:00 a.m. on March 17, 2025.
During this time, some systems such as the E-commerce Information Portal, the Electronic Tax application (eTax), and the Electronic Tax application for individuals (iCanhan) will temporarily suspend the electronic tax payment function, but other subsystems will still operate normally. Systems such as eTax Mobile and GIP/T2B will be completely suspended.
Taxpayers can still carry out tax administrative procedures (except for electronic tax payment) via electronic channels, in person or by post. However, the processing of the documents may be delayed, and the tax authority apologizes for this inconvenience.
