Domestic gas prices
According to records on the afternoon of April 9, domestic retail gas prices continued to maintain a high level after the adjustment increase from the beginning of April, although some slight fluctuations appeared in each area.
In the Northern region, the price of 12kg gas cylinders in Hanoi is at 629,208 VND, an increase of 1,000 VND compared to the previous day, while 48kg cylinders remain at 2,516,832 VND. In Hai Phong, the price is still higher, with 12kg cylinders about 638,928 VND and 48kg cylinders reaching 2,554,160 VND.
In the Central region, gas prices in Da Nang are commonly around 596,000 VND/12kg cylinder. Prices in localities may vary depending on transportation costs and distribution systems.
According to LPG businesses, after the adjustment on April 1, the current gas price level is basically stable but still anchored in the high zone compared to the previous period, reflecting pressure from the developments of the world energy market.

World gas prices weaken, downward pressure still prevails
According to TradersUnion, natural gas prices continue to be under pressure in the context of daytime fluctuations maintained at a low level. After recovering to the resistance zone around 2.88 USD, the price quickly turned down and is currently trading near the support level of 2.70 USD.
Faced with maintained selling pressure, the possibility of the price breaking this support level is not ruled out, thereby possibly falling back to the 2.66 – 2.64 USD range. Buying power may appear at these levels, but the prospect of recovery is still limited if stockpiling demand from countries has not improved significantly.
In the opposite direction, the rebounds to the 2.80 – 2.86 USD zone can still be seen as an opportunity to open selling positions. In case the 2.64 USD mark is broken, natural gas prices may continue to fall to the 2.60 – 2.56 USD zone.
