According to LPG businesses, domestic gas prices in April increased sharply due to the adjustment of world gas prices (CP) to increase compared to the previous month. The common increase is about 95,000 VND/12kg cylinder, equivalent to nearly 8,000 VND/kg.
The announced April 2026 CP gas price increased compared to March, leading to an increase in LPG import costs, and also affected by fluctuations in the USD/VND exchange rate.
After the adjustment at the beginning of the month, domestic gas prices are currently maintained stably at a high price level. Analysts believe that in the context that the world energy market still has many fluctuating factors, domestic gas prices in the coming time will continue to depend on the diễn biến of CP prices and input costs.
