On September 29, the Department of Finance of Gia Lai province said that in September 2025, the whole province will attract 7 new investment projects with a total registered capital of more than 3,590 billion VND, of which 3 projects are located in economic zones and industrial parks, 4 projects are outside. During the same period, the province adjusted the investment policy of 5 projects with an additional capital of more than 1,700 billion VND.
Accumulated from the beginning of the year to date, Gia Lai has attracted 144 projects with a total registered capital of over VND 78,000 billion, including 130 domestic projects with a capital of over VND 42,500 billion and 14 FDI projects with a capital of over VND 35,400 billion.
In terms of field structure, 66 projects are industrial; 20 construction - infrastructure projects; 17 commercial, service - tourism projects; 40 agriculture - forestry - fishery projects; 1 real estate and urban economic project.
Since the beginning of the year, the province has adjusted 142 projects with an additional capital of more than VND6,500 billion, revoking and terminating the operation of 5 projects. Currently, 16 new projects with a total capital of more than 1,000 billion VND have submitted a Project Policy Appraisal Report, waiting for the Provincial People's Committee to approve.
According to the investment attraction target assigned by the Provincial People's Committee in 2025, up to now, 90 communes and wards have met the target, while the rest have not yet met it.
Along with attracting investment, business activities are also vibrant. From September 1 to September 25, the province issued Business Registration Certificates to 215 newly established enterprises, with a total registered capital of more than VND 2,400 billion; temporarily suspended 40 enterprises; dissolved 40 enterprises; 34 enterprises returned to operation.
From the beginning of the year to September 25, the province has issued Registration Certificates to 2,376 newly established enterprises, with a total registered capital of over VND 17,600 billion.
