In 2025, Gia Lai province aims to complete 1,500 - 2,000 social housing units (NOXH), of which at least 742 units will be put into use, the remaining units must complete the rough construction and hand over by the first quarter of 2026 at the latest.
This goal is to soon meet the housing needs of people, especially civil servants, public employees, and workers affected by the merger of provinces, who have to move from Gia Lai Tay to the eastern area to live and work.
In response to urgent requirements, Vice Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huu Que assigned the Department of Construction to guide investors in social housing projects to review, re- shape plans, and build specific progress; have strict sanctions to handle cases of non-implementation or delay.
Establish a working group to work directly at the site to promptly remove difficulties, check the quality and progress of social housing projects.
Mr. Que also requested investors to focus resources on project implementation, put it into use soon, and promptly meet the housing needs of people in the context of the post-merger.
In particular, for projects that must be completed in 2025 such as: Tan Dai Minh 2 Social Housing (Lamer2); Housing under the planning of Binh Dinh Provincial Trade Union Institution Area; Nhon Phu 2 Social Housing; Social Housing Area in Bong Son Ward; Social Housing Apartment Area in Area C, Urban - Commercial Area North of Ha Thanh River, Mr. Que requires investors to complete on schedule.
"In case of non-implementation or incomplete implementation, the Department of Construction must review, strictly handle and re-evaluate the capacity, not allowing continued participation in other projects in the area," Mr. Que emphasized.
For the Bong Hong Social Housing Project, after being approved in principle and assigned to the investor, the Vice Chairman of Gia Lai province assigned the Provincial Land Fund Development Center and related parties to complete site clearance in 2025 for implementation.
For the social housing project in Tra Da Industrial Park, the Department of Construction coordinated with agencies to urgently propose issuing a decision to announce project information, as a basis for selecting investors.
For the Social Housing Project in Bong Son Ward, the Ward People's Committee must coordinate with Binh Dinh Water Supply and Drainage Joint Stock Company and related units to completely resolve the proposal to relocate the water supply pipeline, to be completed by September 2025 at the latest.
