On November 11, the Gia Lai Provincial Tax Department said that due to the high tax debt situation, the Tax authority has promptly updated the exact list of taxpayers who still owe, making it public on the electronic information portal and the official Zalo page of the industry.
The Tax Authority regularly sends open letters, persistently encourages, urges, and reminds taxpayers. For cases that have been repeatedly reminded but are still sluggish, the Tax sector is determined to apply measures to enforce accounts, invoices and collect taxes in accordance with regulations.
In the first 9 months of 2025, the whole industry has publicized 991 taxpayers with large taxes owed, issued 85 notices of temporary suspension of exit and many decisions to enforce accounts, invoices, and collect taxes from debtors.
Thanks to the synchronous and drastic implementation of measures, the Gia Lai Provincial Tax Department has recovered more than VND 6,634 billion in tax debts, including VND 818.5 billion owed last year and VND 5,816 billion of arising debts, promptly added to the state budget.
The Tax sector has also identified VND6,501.6 billion of debt that can be collected and VND254.9 billion of debt that is difficult to collect, thereby applying appropriate handling measures.
In the coming time, Gia Lai Tax Department will continue to implement solutions to support taxpayers in developing production, maintaining revenue sources, while strengthening supervision of tax declaration records, limiting arising debts and focusing on collection, handling tax debts, ensuring the completion of the budget collection target for 2025.
