World oil prices today
World oil prices increased simultaneously on December 11 (Vietnam time). At 11:44, WTI crude oil was at 68.97 USD/barrel, up 0.38 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.55%. WTI crude oil closed yesterday's trading session at 68.59 USD/barrel, opening today's session at 68.45 USD/barrel.
Brent crude oil was at $72.58 a barrel, up $0.39 a barrel, or 0.54 percent. Brent crude oil closed the previous session at $72.19 a barrel and opened today at $72.06 a barrel.
Thus, world oil prices have fluctuated strongly since the beginning of the week. After increasing by 1.4% and 1.7% for Brent and WTI oil respectively in the trading session (December 9), world oil prices yesterday (December 10) all turned down at the beginning of the session, then at the end of the session all increased with a slight increase in the closing price. The increase continued to be maintained in this morning's session (December 11).
Supporting oil prices, analysts said, were reports that China would adopt a more accommodative monetary policy in 2025 as Beijing tries to boost economic growth. This would be the first easing in 14 years.
In addition, China's crude oil imports in November jumped 14.3% year-on-year, marking the first increase in seven months.
Limiting oil prices' gains during the session was data from the American Petroleum Institute showing that US gasoline, crude oil and distillate inventories all rose last week, by 2.852 million barrels, 499,000 barrels and 2.452 million barrels, respectively.

On December 11, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 (46 provinces and cities currently applying) are as follows:
The above domestic retail prices of gasoline and oil were adjusted by the Ministry of Finance - Industry and Trade in the price management session on the afternoon of December 5. Accordingly, the price of diesel oil decreased the most, by 395 VND/liter; kerosene decreased by 325 VND/liter; RON 95-III gasoline decreased by 294 VND/liter. Notably, the price of E5 RON 92 gasoline increased by 24 VND/liter, while fuel oil remained unchanged.

Tu Luc Petroleum discounts on December 11 as follows: Diesel discount (0.005S-V): 1,400 VND/liter; Diesel discount (0.001S-V): 1,350; RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,250 VND/liter; E5 gasoline: 1,150 VND/liter.

Forecast of domestic gasoline prices next period
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the next price management period, petroleum prices may have opposite adjustments.
In particular, the price of RON 95 gasoline is forecasted to increase by about 70 VND/liter; E5 gasoline increases by about 40 VND/liter, and Diesel oil decreases by 90 VND/liter.
Since the beginning of the year, since the price adjustment session on January 4, gasoline prices have increased 22 times and decreased 26 times. Oil prices have increased 21 times and decreased 27 times.
