World gasoline prices today
World gasoline prices in today's trading session, August 14 (Vietnam time), increased simultaneously. WTI crude oil was at 78.92 USD/barrel, up 0.56 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.71%. WTI crude oil closed the previous trading session at a price of 78.35 USD/barrel, opening today's session at a price of 78.66 USD/barrel.
Brent oil was at 81.21 USD/barrel, up 0.29 USD/barrel, equivalent to 0.36%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at 80.92 USD/barrel and opened today's session at 80.94 USD/barrel.
According to analysts, worries about spreading conflict and the increasing risk of tightening access to global crude oil supply push oil prices up. Expanded conflict could cause Israel to target Iranian oil, hindering the country's crude oil exports.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On August 14, retail gasoline prices according to Petrolimex's published price list in regions 1 and 2 (46 provinces and cities are applying) are as follows:
The above mentioned domestic retail gasoline price was adjusted by the Ministry of Finance - Industry and Trade at the price management period on August 8. Accordingly, RON 95-III gasoline decreased the most, 930 VND/liter, followed by E5 RON 92 gasoline, down 901 VND/liter. The price of mazut oil decreased by 858 VND/kg, diesel oil decreased by 737 VND/liter, kerosene decreased by 684 VND/liter. This is the 5th consecutive decrease in domestic gasoline prices.

Discounted prices of petroleum products today, August 14, at some domestic petroleum agents are as follows:
Pvoil applies discount rates on August 14: Oil discount 1,250 VND/liter; RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,050 VND/liter; E5 gasoline: 850 VND/liter. This discount is applied at Pvoil Dinh Vu warehouse, Petec An Hai warehouse, Cai Lan warehouse.
Tu Luc gasoline discount on August 14 is as follows: Oil discount: 1,200 VND/liter; RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,000 VND/liter; E5 gasoline: 800 VND/liter.
MIPEC gasoline discount on August 14: 95-III gasoline: 1,000; E5 gasoline: 850; Oil: 1,250 VND/liter
Forecast of domestic gasoline prices in the coming period
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic gasoline prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. It is forecasted that in the next price management period, gasoline prices may increase. Of which, gasoline increased by 200-300 VND/liter; Oil increased by 100 VND/liter.
From the beginning of the year until now, since the price management session on January 4, gasoline prices have increased 16 times and decreased 15 times. Oil products increased 15 times and decreased 16 times.
