World oil price today
World oil prices today fell sharply. At 10:25 (Vietnam time), WTI crude oil was at 66.63 USD/barrel, down 0.35 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.52%. WTI crude oil closed the previous trading session at 66.98 USD/barrel, opening today's session at 66.88 USD/barrel.
Brent oil was at 68.91 USD/barrel, down 0.30 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.43%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at 70.36 USD/barrel and opened today's session at 70.51 USD/barrel.
Thus, gasoline prices turned down sharply after consecutive price increases. At the end of yesterday's trading session (September 14), WTI and Brent oil prices decreased by 2.15% and 1.63%, respectively. By this morning's session, world oil prices continued to decline.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On July 15, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 are as follows:
The above domestic retail price of gasoline and oil has been adjusted according to the price of the Ministry of Finance - Industry and Trade since 3:00 p.m. on July 10.
Accordingly, E5RON92 gasoline price increased by 214 VND/liter, RON95-III gasoline increased by 184 VND/liter; diesel price increased by 429 VND/liter; kerosene increased by 239 VND/liter; mazut price decreased by 244 VND/kg.

Forecast of domestic gasoline prices in the coming period
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the next price management period, retail prices of gasoline may have a slight adjustment in the direction of decreasing gasoline prices and increasing oil prices, but the fluctuations are not significant.
In particular, the price of RON 95 - III gasoline is forecast to decrease by about 30 VND/liter; E5 RON 92 - II gasoline decreases by about 40 VND/liter; Diesel increases by about 140 VND/liter.
