World oil price today
World oil prices are in a strong uptrend. At the end of yesterday's trading session (September 15), both oil products, WTI and Brent, increased by 0.97% and 0.67%, respectively.
By this morning's session, world oil prices continued to increase. At 11:03 (Vietnam time), WTI crude oil price was at 63.45 USD/barrel, up 0.15 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.24%. WTI oil closed the previous trading session at 63.30 USD/barrel and opened the weekend session at 63.32 USD/barrel.
Brent oil was at 67.60 USD/barrel, up 0.16 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.24%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at 67.44 USD/barrel and opened the weekend session at 67.47 USD/barrel.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On September 16, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 are as follows:
The above domestic retail price of gasoline and oil was adjusted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance from 3:00 p.m. on September 11.
Accordingly, gasoline prices decreased by 39-95 VND/liter; oil prices (excluding mazut) increased by 54-170 VND/liter. Specifically, E5RON92 gasoline price decreased by 95 VND/liter, RON95-III gasoline decreased by 39 VND/liter, diesel increased by 170 VND/liter, kerosene increased by 54 VND/liter, and mazut alone decreased by 286 VND/kg.
This management period, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance did not set aside or use the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for E5RON92 gasoline, RON95 gasoline, diesel, kerosene, and fuel oil.

Tu Luc Petroleum: Discount on Diesel 0.05S-II: 1,450 VND/liter; Diesel 0.001S-V: 1,250; RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,250 VND/liter; E5 gasoline: 1,250 VND/liter.
MIPEC Petroleum: RON 95 - III Petroleum Discount: VND 1,200/liter; Diesel 0.05S-II: VND 1,100/liter; Diesel 0.05S: 1,400. Applicable to the Northern region.
Forecast of domestic gasoline prices in the coming period
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the next price adjustment period, retail prices of gasoline may have opposite adjustments.
In particular, the price of RON 95 - III gasoline is forecast to increase by about 210 VND/liter; E5 RON 92 - II gasoline increases by about 210 VND/liter; Diesel oil decreases by about 10 VND/liter.
