World gasoline prices today
At the end of a week of trading, WTI crude oil was at 59.12 USD/barrel last weekend, up to 59.44 USD/barrel this weekend. Overall last week, WTI oil increased slightly by 0.32 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.5% compared to the previous week.
Brent oil was at 63.34 USD/barrel last weekend, up to 64.13 USD/barrel this weekend. Overall last week, Brent oil increased by 0.79 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 1.2% compared to the previous week.
In the past week, world oil prices fluctuated strongly with 3 increasing sessions and 2 decreasing sessions. In which, the market recorded the strongest decreasing session on Thursday with a decrease of more than 4%.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On January 18, retail gasoline and oil prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in region 1 and region 2 are as follows:
The above-mentioned domestic retail gasoline and oil prices are adjusted by the inter-Ministry of Industry and Trade - Finance from 3 pm on January 15, 2025.
Accordingly, E5RON92 gasoline increased by 143 VND/liter; RON95 gasoline increased by 152 VND/liter; diesel oil increased by 226 VND/liter; kerosene increased by 138 VND/liter; mazut oil decreased by 2 VND/kg.

+ Nghi Son Refinery: Diesel oil 0.05S - II: 300 VND/liter; RON 95 - III gasoline: 700 VND/liter.

+ Diesel 0.05S - II: 500 VND/liter;
+ Diesel 0.001S-V: 450 VND/liter;
+ RON 95 - III gasoline: 700 VND/liter;
+ E5 gasoline: 600 VND/liter.

Forecast of domestic gasoline and oil prices in the coming period
According to a representative of a gasoline and oil business, domestic gasoline and oil prices will fluctuate according to the world gasoline and oil situation. According to current market developments, it is predicted that in the next price adjustment period, retail gasoline and oil prices may have opposite adjustments in the direction of gasoline prices slightly decreasing and oil prices increasing.
In which, the forecast price of RON 95 - III gasoline decreased by 40 VND/liter; E5 RON 92 - II gasoline decreased by 20 VND/liter; Diesel oil increased by 320 VND/liter.
