Gasoline and oil prices today, January 14th: Simultaneously decrease

World gasoline prices today

World gasoline and oil prices today turned down after the previous strong increase session. At the end of yesterday's trading session (January 13), WTI and Brent oil prices increased by 2.8% and 2.5% respectively.

Until this morning's session, both oil items turned down. At 1:31 PM (Vietnam time), WTI crude oil was at 60.87 USD/barrel, down 0.28 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.46%. WTI oil closed the previous trading session at a price of 61.15 USD/barrel; and opened today's session at a price of 61.17 USD/barrel.

Brent oil was at 65.22 USD/barrel, down 0.25 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.38%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at a price of 65.47 USD/barrel; and opened today's session at a price of 65.43 USD/barrel.

Domestic gasoline prices today

On January 14, retail gasoline and oil prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in region 1 and region 2 are as follows:

The above-mentioned domestic retail gasoline and oil prices are adjusted by the inter-Ministry of Industry and Trade - Finance from 3 pm on January 8, 2025.

Accordingly, E5RON92 gasoline decreased by 278 VND/liter; RON95 gasoline decreased by 89 VND/liter; diesel oil decreased by 2 VND/liter; kerosene decreased by 15 VND/liter; mazut oil decreased by 37 VND/kg.

The discount rates for gasoline and oil products today, January 14, at some domestic gasoline and oil businesses are as follows:

+ Hai Linh warehouse, Hai Phong: Diesel oil 0.05S - II: 200 VND/liter; RON 95 - III gasoline: 400 VND/liter.

+ Bac Ninh warehouse: Diesel oil 0.05S - II: 50 VND/liter; gasoline RON 95 - III: 250 VND/liter.

+ Nghi Son Refinery: Diesel 0.05S - II: 200 VND/liter; RON 95 - III gasoline: 500 VND/liter

- Tu Luc Petroleum Joint Stock Company 1:

+ Diesel 0.05S - II: 300 VND/liter;

+ Diesel 0.001S-V: 200 VND/liter;

+ RON 95 - III gasoline: 500 VND/liter;

+ E5 gasoline: 500 VND/liter.

Forecast of domestic gasoline and oil prices in the coming period

According to a representative of a gasoline and oil business, domestic gasoline and oil prices will fluctuate according to the world gasoline and oil situation. According to current market developments, it is predicted that in the next price adjustment period, retail gasoline and oil prices may increase slightly.

In which, the forecast price of RON 95 - III gasoline increased by 120 VND/liter; E5 RON 92 - II gasoline increased by 150 VND/liter; Diesel oil increased by 170 VND/liter.
