World oil prices today
World gasoline and oil prices today skyrocketed. At 12:16 PM (Vietnam time), WTI oil price was at 71.14 USD/barrel, up 4.12 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 6.10%. WTI oil closed the previous trading session at 67.02 USD/barrel; and opened the weekend session at 74.74 USD/barrel.
Brent oil was at 77.56 USD/barrel, up 4.69 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 6.45%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at a price of 72.87 USD/barrel; and opened today's session at a price of 81.64 USD/barrel.
Right when entering the first trading session of the week, futures crude oil prices at one point increased by more than 8%, to the highest level in many months, reflecting concerns about supply.
According to analysts, the global energy market is facing one of the most serious shocks in decades, as military moves between the US, Israel and Iran raise concerns about the risk of disruption of oil supplies from the world's key production region.
The next developments in oil prices will depend on the extent and duration of the conflict, but the current instability is enough to make the market maintain a cautious state.
Domestic gasoline prices today
March 2nd, retail gasoline and oil prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in region 1 and region 2 are as follows:
The retail price of gasoline and oil in the country mentioned above will be adjusted by the inter-Ministry of Industry and Trade - Finance from 3 pm on February 20, 2025.
Accordingly, E5RON92 gasoline increased by 889 VND/liter; RON95 gasoline increased by 999 VND/liter; diesel oil increased by 754 VND/liter; kerosene increased by 854 VND/liter; mazut oil decreased by 173 VND/kg.

Domestic gasoline and oil price forecast for the next period
According to a representative of a gasoline and oil business, domestic gasoline and oil prices will fluctuate according to the world gasoline and oil situation. According to current market developments, it is predicted that in the next price adjustment period, retail gasoline and oil prices may increase.
In which:
- RON 95 - III gasoline increased by about 260 VND/liter;
- E5 RON 92 - II gasoline increased by about 230 VND/liter;
- Diesel oil increased by about 80 VND/liter.
