World oil price today
World oil prices today increased simultaneously. At 11:32, WTI crude oil was at 62.60 USD/barrel, up 0.33 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.53%. WTI crude oil closed the previous trading session at 62.37 USD/barrel, opening today's session at 62.29 USD/barrel.
Brent oil was at 66.44 USD/barrel, up 0.32 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.49%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at 66.12 USD/barrel and opened today's session at 66.11 USD/barrel.
Thus, world oil prices increased simultaneously after a sharp decline. At the end of yesterday's trading session, both WTI and Brent oil decreased by 1.96% and 2.2%, respectively. By this morning's session, both oil and oil products regained their upward momentum.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On April 24, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 (46 provinces and cities are applying) are as follows:
The above domestic retail price of gasoline and oil was adjusted by the Ministry of Finance - Industry and Trade in the price management session on the afternoon of April 17, 2025. Accordingly, E5 RON 92 gasoline price decreased by 384 VND/liter, RON 95-III gasoline decreased by 351 VND/liter, diesel decreased by 206 VND/liter, kerosene decreased by 229 VND/liter. Only mazut oil increased by 58 VND/kg.

Hoang Trong General Trading Company Limited: Diesel 0.05S - II: 600 VND/liter, applied at Hai Linh warehouse, Hai Phong; RON 95 - III gasoline: 500 VND/liter, applied at Hai Linh warehouse, Hai Phong warehouse K99; Diesel 0.05S - II: 450 VND/liter, applied at Bac Ninh warehouse; RON 95 - III gasoline: 350 VND/liter, applied at Bac Ninh warehouse; E5 gasoline: 350 VND/liter at Dinh Vu warehouse, Petec.
Tu Luc Petroleum: Diesel discount 0.05S-II: 650 VND/liter; Diesel 0.001S-V: 550 VND/liter; RON 95 - III gasoline: 550; E5 gasoline: 450 VND/liter.
MIPEC Petroleum: RON 95 - III Petroleum Discount: 600 VND/liter; E5 Petroleum: 400 VND/liter; Diesel 0.05S-II: 650 VND/liter. Applicable to the Northern region.
Forecast of domestic gasoline prices in the coming period
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the next price adjustment period, retail prices of gasoline may increase sharply.
Of which, RON 95 gasoline price may increase by about 700 VND/liter; E5 gasoline may increase by about 660 VND/liter; Diesel oil increases by about 420 VND/liter.
