World gasoline prices today
World gasoline and oil prices are on a strong upward trend. At the end of yesterday's trading session (January 27), WTI and Brent oil prices increased by 2.9% and 3.02% respectively.
By this morning's session, both oil products continued their upward trend. At 10:27 AM, WTI crude oil was at 62.82 USD/barrel, up 0.43 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.69%. WTI oil closed the previous trading session at 62.39 USD/barrel; and opened today's session at 62.61 USD/barrel.
Brent oil was at 66.98 USD/barrel, up 0.39 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.59%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at 66.59 USD/barrel; and opened today's session at 66.75 USD/barrel.
Thus, world gasoline and oil prices are on a strong recovery path, currently at the highest level since the end of September 2025 to date.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On January 28, retail gasoline and oil prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in region 1 and region 2 are as follows:
The above-mentioned domestic retail gasoline and oil prices are adjusted by the inter-Ministry of Industry and Trade - Finance from 3 pm on January 22, 2025.
Accordingly, E5RON92 gasoline decreased by 93 VND/liter; RON95 gasoline decreased by 81 VND/liter; diesel oil increased by 413 VND/liter; kerosene increased by 253 VND/liter; mazut oil increased by 471 VND/kg.

+ Nghi Son warehouse: RON 95 - III gasoline: 450 VND/liter.

+ Diesel 0.05S - II: 100 VND/liter;
+ Diesel 0.001S-V: 100 VND/liter;
+ RON 95 - III gasoline: 500 VND/liter;
+ E5 gasoline: 500 VND/liter.
- MIPEC - MIPEC Petro Trading and Trading Co., Ltd. (applied to the Northern region):
+ RON 95 - III gasoline: 400 VND/liter.
+ Diesel 0.05S-II: 400 VND/liter.

Forecast of domestic gasoline and oil prices in the coming period
According to a representative of a gasoline and oil business, domestic gasoline and oil prices will fluctuate according to the world gasoline and oil situation. According to current market developments, it is predicted that in the next price adjustment period, retail gasoline and oil prices may adjust in opposite directions.
In which, the forecast price of RON 95 - III gasoline increased by about 140 VND/liter; E5 RON 92 - II gasoline decreased by about 10 VND/liter; Diesel oil increased by about 400 VND/liter.
