Gasoline and oil prices today 4: 2: Strong increase

World oil prices today

World gasoline and oil prices reversed to increase sharply. At the end of yesterday's trading session (February 3), WTI and Brent oil prices increased by 1.7% and 1.6% respectively.

By this morning's session, both oil commodities continued the upward trend. At 12:22 (Vietnam time), WTI crude oil was at 63.81 USD/barrel, up 0.60 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.95%. WTI oil closed the previous trading session at a price of 63.21 USD/barrel; and opened today's session at a price of 63.75 USD/barrel.

Brent oil was at 67.86 USD/barrel, up 0.53 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.79%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at 67.33 USD/barrel; and opened today's session at 68.03 USD/barrel.

Domestic gasoline prices today

February 4th, retail gasoline and oil prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in region 1 and region 2 are as follows:

The above domestic retail gasoline and oil prices are adjusted by the inter-Ministry of Industry and Trade - Finance from 3 pm on January 29, 2025.

Accordingly, E5RON92 gasoline increased by 56 VND/liter; RON95 gasoline increased by 214 VND/liter; diesel oil increased by 473 VND/liter; kerosene increased by 226 VND/liter; mazut oil increased by 761 VND/kg.

According to a representative of a gasoline and oil business, domestic gasoline and oil prices will fluctuate according to the world gasoline and oil situation. According to current market developments, it is predicted that in the next price adjustment period, retail gasoline and oil prices may be slightly adjusted.

In which, the forecast price of RON 95 - III gasoline may not fluctuate or slightly decrease by 0-50 VND/liter; E5 RON 92 - II gasoline may not fluctuate or slightly increase by 0-50 VND/liter; Diesel oil increases by about 230 VND/liter.
