Gasoline and oil prices today, January 7: Fall to a low level

World gasoline prices today

World gasoline and oil prices today simultaneously decreased sharply. At the end of yesterday's trading session (January 6), WTI and Brent oil prices decreased by 2% and 1.7% respectively.

By this morning's session, both oil products continued their downward trend. At 2:00 PM (Vietnam time), WTI crude oil was at 56.19 USD/barrel, down 0.94 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 1.65 %. WTI oil closed the previous trading session at a price of 57.13 USD/barrel; and opened the first session of the year at a price of 56.98 USD/barrel.

Brent oil was at 59.94 USD/barrel, down 0.76 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 1.25%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at a price of 60.70 USD/barrel; and opened the first session of the year at a price of 60.55 USD/barrel.

Domestic gasoline prices today

On January 7, retail gasoline and oil prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in region 1 and region 2 are as follows:

The above-mentioned domestic retail gasoline and oil prices are adjusted by the inter-Ministry of Industry and Trade - Finance from 3 pm on December 31, 2025

Accordingly, E5RON92 gasoline decreased by 278 VND/liter; RON95 gasoline decreased by 89 VND/liter; diesel oil decreased by 2 VND/liter; kerosene decreased by 15 VND/liter; mazut oil decreased by 37 VND/kg.

+ Hai Linh warehouse, Hai Phong: Diesel oil 0.05S - II: 500 VND/liter; RON 95 - III gasoline: 800 VND/liter.

+ Bac Ninh warehouse: Diesel oil 0.05S - II: 350 VND/liter; gasoline RON 95 - III: 650 VND/liter.

+ Nghi Son Refinery: Diesel 0.05S - II: 400 VND/liter; RON 95 - III gasoline: 850 VND/liter

+ Diesel 0.05S - II: 550 VND/liter;

+ Diesel 0.001S-V: Out of stock

+ RON 95 - III gasoline: 800 VND/liter;
