With the support of Grab users, the Strong-Green Program will focus on implementing afforestation projects, saving energy and reducing emissions to the environment. This is an effort to continue Grab's commitment to environmental protection and improving the quality of community life, towards the sustainable development of urban areas in Vietnam.

In the immediate future, in 2025, the Green-Friendly Program will plant 100,000 trees in Da Nang and Khanh Hoa, install more than 210,000 renovated kitchens and replace 6 million fiber bulbs with energy-saving LED lights for households in remote areas.
Mr. Ma Tuan Trong, CEO of Grab Vietnam, shared: Over the years, we have seen the increasingly strong interest and support of users for environmental protection initiatives. That also motivates Grab to continue to promote and diversify environmental protection activities further - in addition to afforestation, this year we also implement additional initiatives to reduce emissions and save energy. This is a testament to Grab's long-term efforts, as well as its commitment to accompanying agencies and the community to create a sustainable green future. With the power of technology and connecting platforms, we believe that the Green Program will continue to create far-reaching positive impacts on the environment and local people.

Joining hands to green the forest, planting 100,000 trees together in 2025
The voting-Green program was officially launched by the signing ceremony of cooperation in implementing the Grab For Good Forest planting project between Grab Vietnam and units including the Da Nang City Protective Forest Management Board and the Sustainable Living Community Support and Development Fund (Song Fund). The ceremony was witnessed by Ms. Le Thuy Trinh, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Da Nang City.
Mr. Vo Hung Nhan, Director of the Da Nang City Protective Forest Management Board, shared: Climate change is causing increasingly serious extreme weather phenomena, storms, floods and landslides - in October 2025 alone, Vietnam has suffered 4 consecutive major storms causing heavy damage to people and property. This is a profound reminder about the consequences of unsustainable resource exploitation, and at the same time calls for us to take stronger action to protect the living environment. With 20,000 trees contributed by Grab Vietnam and Grab users through the Living Fund, about 18 hectares of Phu Ninh Lake protection forest will be covered with green - this is an extremely meaningful start, contributing to the Government's program of planting a new billion trees and enhancing resilience to natural disasters and climate change."

According to the cooperation agreement, immediately after launching the program, the parties will plant 20,000 trees in the protective forest of Phu Ninh reservoir, contributing to greening the forest, expanding the area of protective forests, protecting groundwater resources and preventing soil erosion in the locality. In addition to tree planting activities, the parties also cooperated in researching and evaluating the effectiveness of forest planting and biodiversity conservation models, as well as communication to raise public awareness and mobilize more social resources for forest conservation.
In addition to Da Nang, the Green-Stable Program also planted 80,000 more trees in the Tan Giang - Thuan Nam protective forest (in Khanh Hoa province). This is also an important area in protecting the ecosystem and enhancing resilience to climate change.

Previously, in 2024, with the support of Grab users and partners, the Grab For Good Forest project planted more than 171,000 trees and planted 150,000 seed bombs in Nui Chua National Park, Thuan Nam coastal protection forest and Tan Giang upstream protection forest. These efforts not only restore the ecosystem and protect water resources but also bring practical benefits to community livelihoods.
