Thuận Hiền |

The suspension of the system is to meet the requirements of arranging tax authorities according to the new model and implementing regulations effective from July 1, 2025.

Deploying a series of new resolutions, decrees and circulars related to administrative reform, electronic identification and tax processes, the Tax Department announced that it will upgrade the information technology system from the end of June 2025. Accordingly, many electronic tax systems will temporarily suspend operations during the transition period.

Systems such as: Tax Department website, tax service practice management system (THI), e-commerce portal, electronic tax application (eTax), eTax Mobile, electronic invoice system, information exchange platform ( DataHub/GIP/T2B), ... will be temporarily suspended from 6:00 p.m. on June 27, 2025 to 8:00 a.m. on July 1, 2025.

The electronic invoice system will be stopped from 0:00 to 0:00 on July 1, 2025. During this time, only a few platforms such as the Electronic Information Portal for foreign suppliers are still operating normally.

The Tax Department said that during the suspension period, service provision may be interrupted, and the processing time for documents may be slower than usual. However, the tax authority still receives and processes tax administrative procedures directly at the one-stop department and via post.

Taxpayers who have problems can contact the Tax Department's support channels via phone number 024.37689679 (odd address 2180), email: nhomhttdt@gdt.gov.vn or the hotline number announced on the Tax Department's website.
