According to Lao Cai International Border Gate Customs, from August 29 to the end of September 2, there were 171 businesses and business households participating in import and export activities through the border gate.
During this time, the Customs force received and processed 1,702 declarations on the VNACCS/VCIS automatic customs clearance system.
Total import and export turnover reached 45.3 million USD. Of which, export turnover reached 31.9 million USD, import turnover reached 13.4 million USD.
The number of vehicles transporting goods through the border gate is also maintained at a high level. There are 697 vehicles transporting export goods and 1,996 vehicles transporting import goods completing procedures during the 5-day holiday.
To ensure continuous import and export activities during the holidays, the Customs force maintains inspection and supervision of goods and vehicles at border gates, warehouses, bonded warehouses and customs procedure locations.
Along with that, functional forces strengthen patrols and control of the area, proactively prevent smuggling, trade fraud and illegal transportation of goods across borders.
During the period, total import and export tax revenue reached 12.26 billion VND, mainly from machinery, equipment, chemicals and fertilizers.
During the holiday, Lao Cai International Border Gate Customs coordinates with functional forces to inspect and control goods, vehicles and people entering and leaving the country.
Import and export, and entry and exit activities are maintained stably and safely, without any problems arising.
