Along with that, the Provincial People's Committee awarded 16 investment policy approval decisions and investment registration certificates for projects with a total capital of over 33,600 billion VND; and at the same time awarded investment commitment certificates for projects.
Speaking at the conference, Chairman of Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee Lu Quang Ngoi said that the province has its own advantages in geographical location, marine economy, aquaculture, agriculture, energy, tourism and natural ecosystems.

Ca Mau is the only province in the country with 3 sides bordering the sea, with a coastline of 310km. The locality is facing a new development space when many important infrastructure projects are being implemented such as the Can Tho - Ca Mau expressway, Ca Mau - Dat Mui expressway, the road connecting to Hon Khoai island, Hon Khoai dual-use general port and the project to upgrade and expand Ca Mau Airport.
According to Mr. Lu Quang Ngoi, these projects will expand the ability to connect Ca Mau with economic centers in the region and the whole country.
Ca Mau also announced a list of 96 projects inviting investment in the fields of housing, urban areas, energy, tourism, culture, sports, environment, transportation, health, education, trade, services, agriculture, fisheries and infrastructure of industrial parks, clusters, and economic zones.

Chairman of Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee emphasized that the locality prioritizes attracting capable investors with long-term vision, technology and modern management; projects that create high added value, form production chains, expand markets, create jobs and make positive contributions to the community.
Speaking at the conference, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung assessed that investment commitments show that Ca Mau is a locality with many development opportunities. The Deputy Prime Minister noted that the province needs to link economic development with environmental protection, focusing on green economy and circular economy.
The State will create favorable conditions for investors, but at the same time resolutely handle prolonged and inefficient backlog projects.
Responding to the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province, corporations, businesses and investors also contributed more than 60 billion VND to social security work and Tet Dinh Mui care in 2027.
