On the morning of April 23, 2026, in Hanoi, on the occasion of accompanying the State visit of the President of Korea to Vietnam, Mr. Kim Jong Yoon - General Director of NICE Information Service (NICE) had a working session with the Board of Directors of the Vietnam National Credit Information Center (CIC).
The working session not only reaffirmed the strong cooperative relationship between the two sides but also marked an important turning point in the implementation of the cross-border credit information exchange project, which is expected to officially operate in the second quarter of 2026.

Elevating the level of comprehensive strategic partnership
Speaking at the reception, Mr. Cao Van Binh - Chairman of the Board of Directors cum General Director of CIC highly appreciated NICE's support and close coordination over the past time. According to him, the relationship between CIC and NICE is not simply a cooperation between two credit information service providers, but has developed into a comprehensive strategic partnership in many aspects.
In recent years, NICE has accompanied CIC in technology transfer, sharing experience in operating a modern credit scoring-credit rating system and improving data analysis capabilities. The two sides agreed that tightening comprehensive relations is a solid foundation for implementing cooperation projects in the field of credit information in the future.

Realizing the cross-border information exchange project
Continuing the success of previous cooperation programs, the focus of the working session is on the cross-border credit information exchange project. This is a breakthrough project, directly supporting the community of Vietnamese workers in Korea and Koreans living and working in Vietnam, opening up opportunities to access capital and formal financial services in the most convenient way.
Information at the working session, CIC leaders said that the project has entered the final stages of implementation. After the official Cooperation Agreement was signed on March 27, 2026, the two sides urgently established technical infrastructure and are in the process of connecting the system and conducting in-depth testing to ensure the smoothness and accuracy of data. The two sides committed to close coordination so that the cross-border data exchange system officially operates in the middle of the second quarter of 2026.
Sharing about the common vision, Mr. Kim Jong Yoon - General Director of NICE emphasized:

We believe that the connection of credit data will create a transparent financial infrastructure platform, helping people and businesses of the two countries access legitimate financial services most conveniently, thereby strongly promoting a wave of sustainable investment and trade.
