Hung Yen - Provincial leaders have just worked with representatives of HiteJinro Group - a company investing in a soju wine factory project in Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park.

During the meeting between the leaders of the People's Committee of Hung Yen province and HiteJinro Group (Korea), the two sides discussed the implementation of a soju wine factory project in Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park (Thai Binh Economic Zone).

According to Mr. Hwang Jung Ho - Executive Director of Global Business at HiteJinro Group, the project has a total investment capital of more than 100 million USD, with an area of about 8.2 hectares. This is HiteJinro's first factory built outside of Korea, marking an important step forward in the group's international production expansion strategy. The project also aims to turn Hung Yen into a center for soju production and export to many countries.

HiteJinro representative expressed her gratitude for the support of the provincial government throughout the implementation process, and hoped to continue to receive support for infrastructure, administrative procedures and human resources to soon fulfill the commitment. The enterprise also affirmed that it will build the factory in an environmentally friendly direction, effectively manage energy and reduce carbon emissions, contributing to the sustainable development of the locality.

On the local side, the leaders of Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated HiteJinro's potential, experience and international reputation. The group's choice of Hung Yen as an investment destination is considered a testament to the attraction of Lien Ha Thai Economic Zone and the province's preferential policies. The provincial government is committed to creating favorable conditions, accompanying investors, and at the same time requiring businesses to comply with Vietnamese legal regulations, protect the environment and comply with international standards during the construction and operation of factories.
