On May 10, Hung Yen Provincial Police said that at about 1 pm on May 5, Hoan Long Commune Police coordinated with Market Management Team No. 1, Road Traffic Police Team No. 1, Traffic Police Department and Yen My Grassroots Agricultural Technical Station to inspect a truck with license plate 29H-226. XX driven by Mr. C.V. T (residing in Dan Phuong commune, Hanoi City) traveling on DH45 road in Pham Xa village, Hoan Long commune, Hung Yen province.
Through inspection, functional forces discovered that the car was transporting 1,130kg of pig intestines showing signs of decomposition, color change, foul odor, not ensuring veterinary hygiene and food safety, of unknown origin, being transported for consumption. Mr. C.V. T is also the owner of the goods on the car.
Through verification, Mr. C.V. T had administrative violations of transporting animal products that do not meet veterinary hygiene and food safety requirements for business.
The Head of Market Management Team No. 1 issued a decision to sanction administrative violations against Mr. C.V. T with a fine of 10 million VND and forced the destruction of the entire amount of violating goods, which is more than 1 ton of pig intestines.
Hoan Long Commune Police have coordinated with functional forces to supervise the destruction of all the above goods in accordance with the law.
