On May 8, the Ninh Binh Provincial Market Management Department (QLTT) said that Market Management Team No. 1 had just conducted an inspection of V.T. T business household in Dong Hoa Lu ward.
Through inspection, functional forces discovered that the business household was trading frozen food including bones and pig intestines of unknown origin; the total value of violating goods was over 13 million VND.
At the time of inspection, the business household owner could not present invoices, documents, and papers proving the legal origin of all the above-mentioned food according to the provisions of law. The products did not fully show information about the production unit, production time, expiry date as well as documents related to the circulation of goods in the market.
Notably, during the actual inspection, all of the above-mentioned food showed signs of spoilage, not ensuring food safety, and potentially affecting consumer health.
Faced with the above violation, the Team Leader of Market Management Team No. 1 issued a decision to sanction administrative violations against business household V.T. T with a fine of 12 million VND; and at the same time forced the destruction of all exhibits of violations in accordance with legal regulations.
