On July 26, news from Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee said that there is a plan to implement the digital transformation project for small and medium-sized enterprises in the province in the period 2026-2030.
According to the plan, in the period 2026-2030, Khanh Hoa strives to support at least 1,000 small and medium-sized enterprises in the province through activities such as assessing the level of digital transformation readiness, consulting on the digital transformation roadmap, training and fostering to improve digital capacity.
Among them, at least 60 businesses will be supported to test and practically apply digital technology products and solutions, digital platforms and artificial intelligence to improve the efficiency of production and business operations.
The province also sets a target of selecting from 3 to 5 typical small and medium-sized enterprises in digital transformation in key areas such as science and technology, processing industry, manufacturing, agriculture, healthcare, trade, logistics, finance, education and tourism.
In addition, Khanh Hoa will establish, develop and operate a network of 10 to 15 organizations, experts, and consultants that meet the criteria for professional capacity to accompany and support small and medium-sized enterprises in the digital transformation process.
In 2026 alone, the province focuses on supporting digital transformation solution consulting for 7 businesses; supporting the cost of renting or purchasing digital transformation solutions for 8 businesses to automate and improve the efficiency of business processes, management, production and business model transformation.
In addition, Khanh Hoa will support consulting on establishing intellectual property rights, consulting on management and development of products and services protected by intellectual property rights for 10 businesses; support 14 businesses to access a network of consultants.
Many small and medium-sized enterprises expect that the implementation of the plan will help them access digital transformation solutions more easily, especially in the context that the cost of investing in technology, software and human resource training is still a barrier for many units.
Businesses also hope that support policies will be implemented promptly, with simple and transparent access procedures to soon apply digital technology and artificial intelligence to management, production, and business, thereby improving competitiveness and adapting to the development trend of the digital economy.
