On August 12, in Hra commune, Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee and Hoang Anh Gia Lai Group organized the groundbreaking ceremony for the Project to build and operate technical infrastructure of Mang Yang Industrial Cluster No. 2.
The project has a land area of 74.5ha, with an investment capital of 400 billion VND, aiming to develop an ecological industrial cluster, attract investment, create jobs and shift the local labor structure. The project is invested and constructed by Hoang Anh Gia Lai Group.
When the Industrial Cluster is formed, it will serve main industries such as: processing agricultural and forestry products; production of building materials; mechanics; production of organic fertilizers, microorganisms from agricultural waste products; high-tech industries in the private economic sector, small and medium-sized enterprises, innovative startups...

Vice Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hue Que said: "With its geographical location on National Highway 19, connecting to the Quy Nhon - Pleiku expressway to Quy Nhon Port and Phu My port in the future, the project will become a link to connect agricultural products from Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia to the international market.
At the same time, when put into operation, the industrial cluster will create stable jobs for more than 4,500 workers, opening up opportunities for people and future generations to start a stable and long-term career right in their homeland.
At the groundbreaking ceremony, Hoang Anh Gia Lai Group signed a memorandum of understanding on investment cooperation with registered enterprises. Including the Ham Rong silk threading plant project, with a scale of 20 silk incubation and threading rigs; the main product is silk thread (rough silk) with high value for export.
The project has an expected area of 4ha, a capacity of 550 tons of silk/year, and a total estimated investment of 80 billion VND. The project is expected to complete the construction of the factory and put it into operation in 2028, creating jobs for about 550-600 workers.
The investor of the industrial cluster also signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation to build the Hoang Tam Packaging and Cardboard Factory Project, with an area of 2ha and a capacity of 15-20 million products/year.
The total estimated investment capital is 140 billion VND, operating time is 50 years. The implementation progress is to complete the construction of the factory and put it into operation in 2028, creating stable jobs for 100-150 local workers.
