On May 14, Hoa Phat Group held the groundbreaking ceremony of the Hoang Dieu Industrial Park (IP) infrastructure construction and business investment project in Gia Phuc commune, under the direction of Hai Phong City People's Committee.
Hoang Dieu IP is located in the key economic region of the North, with a favorable location adjacent to the Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway and National Highway 37. From the industrial park, businesses can easily connect to the center of Hanoi about 55km, Dinh Vu port 60km, Noi Bai international airport 85km and Gia Binh international airport 35km, creating favorable conditions for accessing the production and logistics supply chain in the Northern region.
The project has a scale of 245.03ha, with a total investment of nearly 3,400 billion VND, invested by Hoang Dieu Industrial Zone Infrastructure Development Joint Stock Company - a member unit of Hoa Phat Group.
The project's objective is to invest in construction and business of industrial park infrastructure, including land leasing, factories, warehouses and offices, prioritizing attracting high-tech manufacturing enterprises, supporting industries and logistics.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Tran Kien Cuong - Director of Hoang Dieu Industrial Park Infrastructure Development JSC said that Hoang Dieu Industrial Park is developed according to the model of a new generation industrial park, aiming to become a platform for green production, technology innovation and sustainable growth, instead of just providing land and technical infrastructure.
Accordingly, the green orientation is set out by Hoa Phat right from the secondary investor selection stage. The IP prioritizes attracting high-tech enterprises, supporting industries, logistics, especially manufacturing industries using clean technology, energy saving, in line with the global supply chain shift trend and increasingly strict ESG requirements from multinational corporations.
We do not aim to fill it at all costs in the short term. The important thing is to prepare synchronous and thorough infrastructure from the beginning so that investors can be assured to implement long-term projects, expand scale and develop sustainably" - Mr. Tran Kien Cuong emphasized.
Hoa Phat Group said that it has invested in synchronous technical infrastructure systems from the early stages, including a centralized wastewater treatment system with a capacity of 6,000m3/day and night, meeting environmental standards and capable of flexible expansion.
Clean water is supplied according to production needs; electricity is supplied stably through a 110/22kV transformer station located right in the IP. Besides, there is a fire prevention and fighting system along the internal roads and international standard telecommunications infrastructure.
As the first industrial park of Hoa Phat Group in Hai Phong, Hoang Dieu is also planned with additional accommodation facilities for workers, laborers and experts along with accompanying utility services.
The project was started in the context of Hai Phong rising to become the leading industrial and logistics growth pole in the North, while promoting infrastructure completion and expanding development space after administrative boundaries were merged from July 1, 2025.
