Unexpected inspection, unknown origin of pork bones and intestines discovered in Ninh Binh
Ninh Binh Provincial Market Management Department said that Market Management Team No. 1 has just inspected business household V.T. T in Dong Hoa Lu ward and discovered that this establishment trades frozen food of unknown origin including pig bones and intestines, with a total value of more than 13 million VND.
At the time of inspection, the household owner could not present invoices and documents proving the legal origin of the goods. The products also lacked information about the production unit, production time, expiry date and documents related to the circulation process in the market.
Functional forces determined that the food showed signs of spoilage, not ensuring food safety, and potentially posing a risk to consumer health. Three KienlongBank branches inspected, revealing many violations and shortcomings
The State Bank Inspectorate has pointed out many shortcomings and violations in credit granting activities at three KienlongBank branches in Dong Thap, Tay Ninh and Tien Giang, although these units still recorded profitable business results and increased capital mobilization.

At Dong Thap and Tay Ninh branches, the inspection agency discovered many limitations in loan conditions, appraisal, loan approval, guarantee dossiers and post-lending inspection work. Some cases arise risks due to not strictly complying with internal regulations, even there is a situation of lending outside the area.
Notably, KienlongBank Tien Giang branch was identified as having violations in debt appraisal and handling, leading to customers using capital for the wrong purpose. The SBV Inspectorate identified that the main cause came from subjective factors of officials and branch leaders, and at the same time issued 15 recommendations and 12 recommendations requesting units to urgently overcome and review the entire professional process to ensure system safety.
