Ho Chi Minh City discovers cosmetics business establishment of unknown origin
The Ho Chi Minh City Market Management Department said that it has discovered and temporarily seized tens of thousands of products of unknown origin in the area. In Tan Tao ward, functional forces inspected a business household and discovered 820 cosmetic products without invoices, no Vietnamese sub-labels and no quality declaration dossiers.
The violating goods include skin whitening cream, acne prevention cream and unbranded perfume, with a total value of nearly 40 million VND. All goods have been temporarily seized for handling according to regulations.
Previously, Market Management Team No. 13 also inspected 13 organizations and individuals doing business through social networks in Hoc Mon and Dong Thanh areas, discovering more than 13,000 "3 no" products including food, clothing, fabrics and cleaning solutions, with a total value of more than 463 million VND. The Domestic Market Management and Development Authority requests localities to closely monitor the conversion to trading E10 bio-gasoline according to the roadmap from June 1, 2026, in order to avoid supply disruptions and ensure market stability.
From now until May 31, 2026, the Departments of Industry and Trade of provinces and cities must strengthen propaganda about the benefits and safety of E10 gasoline; and at the same time request gas stations to urgently complete technical infrastructure, tanks and pumps to convert on time.
From June 1, 2026, the market management force and functional units will inspect and strictly handle acts of selling wrong types of gasoline, hoarding goods, arbitrarily stopping sales or unreasonably increasing prices. Gold prices fluctuate, many people line up to buy
