VCBNeo has just sharply increased deposit interest rates for terms from 6-60 months. According to the latest online deposit interest rate schedule for interest payment at the end of the term, VCBNeo increased 0.5 percentage points of interest rates for terms of 6-11 months, to 7.5%/year. Terms of 12-60 months increased by 0.8 percentage points, to 7.8%/year - the highest deposit interest rate publicly listed by the bank.
This is also the highest interest rate on the market for deposit terms of 6, 12 and 24 months under normal conditions.
VCBNeo maintains the interest rate for short terms, at 0.5%/year for demand deposits and 4.75%/year for terms from 1 to under 6 months, equal to the maximum level according to current regulations of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) for this term group.
In the opposite direction, LPBank has just reduced deposit interest rates for all terms. For online deposits with interest paid at the end of the term, the 1-month term interest rate decreased by 0.3 percentage points to 4.4%/year; 2-month term decreased by 0.1 percentage points to 4.6%/year; 3-5 month term decreased by 0.1 percentage points to 4.65%/year.
The 6-month term decreased by 0.1 percentage points to 7%/year; the 7-11 month term decreased by 0.2 percentage points to 6.9%/year.
The highest online interest rate at LPBank is currently 7.2%/year, applied to terms of 12, 24 and 25 months, after a decrease of 0.1 percentage points. Terms of 13-18 months also decreased by 0.1 percentage points, down to 7.15%/year.
The 36-month term decreased by 0.1 percentage points to 6.1%/year. Notably, the 48-60 month term decreased sharply by 0.5 percentage points, to 5.7%/year.
LPBank also adjusted to reduce deposit interest rates at counters for both regular customers and priority customers.
For customers who usually receive interest at the end of the term, the current interest rate for 1-month term is 4.1%/year; 2-3 months 4.2%/year; 4-5 months 4.5%/year; 6 months 6.4%/year; 7-11 months 6.3%/year; 12-13 months 6.6%/year; 15-18 months 6.7%/year; 24-25 months 6.8%/year; 36 months 6.1%/year and 48-60 months 5.7%/year.
For priority customers, the highest interest rate at the counter is 6.95%/year, interest is paid at the end of the term, applied for a term of 24-25 months.
The remaining terms are listed as follows: 1 month 4.25%/year; 2-4 months 4.45%/year; 5 months 4.65%/year; 6 months 6.55%/year; 7-11 months 6.45%/year; 12-13 months 6.75%/year; 15-18 months 6.85%/year and 36 months 6.25%/year.
