According to the online deposit interest rate schedule just announced by Loc Phat Vietnam Commercial Joint Stock Bank (LPBank), deposit interest rates simultaneously increased for terms from 1-25 months.
Specifically, savings interest rates for 1-2 month terms increased by 0.1 percentage points to 4.7%/year. 3-5 month terms also increased by 0.1 percentage points, to the ceiling level of 4.75%/year.
Notably, LPBank has raised online deposit interest rates beyond the threshold of 7%/year right from the 6-month term when increasing by 0.3 percentage points for terms from 6-25 months. Accordingly, the interest rate for terms of 6-11 months reached 7.1%/year; 12-month term was 7.3%/year; term of 13-18 months was 7.25%/year; term of 19-25 months reached 7.3%/year.
Meanwhile, the interest rate for long terms from 36-60 months is kept unchanged by LPBank at 6.2%/year.
Not only adjusting the online interest rate schedule, LPBank also sharply increased deposit interest rates at counters for both regular and priority customers.
For ordinary customers, the deposit interest rate at the counter for terms from 6-25 months is adjusted to increase by 0.3-0.4 percentage points. Currently, the highest interest rate is 6.9%/year applied for terms of 24-25 months; 6.8%/year for terms of 15-18 months; 6.7%/year for terms of 12-13 months and 6.5%/year for terms of 6-11 months.
For priority customers, LPBank also increased interest rates by 0.3-0.4 percentage points. The highest interest rate for Diamond customers is listed at 6.4%/year for terms of 6-11 months; 6.5%/year for terms of 12 months; 6.6%/year for terms of 13 months; 6.7%/year for terms of 15-18 months and 6.8%/year for terms of 24-25 months.
