According to the newly announced interest rate schedule, this product has an interest rate of 8.6%/year for a 6-month term; 8.7%/year for a 9-month term; 8.8%/year for a 12-month term; 8.9%/year for a 13-month term; 9%/year for a 15-month term; 9.1%/year for a 24-month term and 9.2%/year for a 36-month term.
With an interest rate of over 9%/year publicly listed, NCB has become one of the few banks applying this interest rate to customers according to the official interest rate schedule. Previously, many banks also had equivalent interest rates but mainly applied them according to separate preferential programs or for groups of customers meeting certain conditions.
For the remaining savings products, NCB maintains the interest rate schedule. Traditional savings products with interest paid at the end of the term have an interest rate of 4.6%/year for a 1-month term; 4.7%/year for a 2-month term; 4.75%/year for a 3-5 month term; 6%/year for a 6-11 month term; 6.3%/year for a 12-month term; 6.4%/year for a 13-month term; 6.5%/year for a 15-month term; 6.6%/year for an 18-month term and 6.7%/year for terms from 24-60 months.
Meanwhile, An Phu online savings product is listed at 4.7%/year for 1 month term; 4.75%/year for 2-5 month term; 6.2%/year for 6-11 month term; 6.4%/year for 12 month term; 6.6%/year for 15 month term; 6.7%/year for 18 month term and 6.8%/year for terms from 24-60 months.
NCB continues to maintain the An Phat Loc deposit certificate interest rate at 7%/year for terms of 18, 24 and 84 months when receiving interest every 6 months. In case of receiving interest every 12 months, the applied interest rate is 7.2%/year.
