There is only more than a month left until the 2026 Binh Ngo Lunar New Year, so these days, production and trading activities in Binh Dinh carpentry village, Duc Thinh commune are very active.
Mr. Dinh Van Yen (born 1978), owner of Yen Kieu wooden furniture production facility - said that this Tet holiday, consumption demand increased by about 70% compared to normal days. Therefore, his facility is focusing on production to meet market demand.
Currently, my facility has received production according to customer orders with a total value converted to money of about 1.2 billion VND. From now until Tet, more new orders will arise. Therefore, we must focus highly on production to meet the delivery schedule for customers," Mr. Yen shared.

Currently, Mr. Yen's wooden furniture production facility is using 20 workers. When there is progress, he can hire artisans in the craft village to do some stages at their homes to produce products.
Mr. Yen's Yen Kieu wood furniture facility mainly sells products such as tables and chairs, salons, altars, beds, in which there are sets of tables and chairs priced up to 200 million VND, and the average price is from 30 million - 50 million VND; the highest set of dong is priced at 70 million VND; altars are commonly priced from 15 million - 20 million VND.
While sitting and chatting with me, Mr. Yen's phone continuously rang from customers calling to ask if the products they ordered were finished, when they were delivered. A moment later, a customer from Son Tien commune came to directly buy an altar. Next, a group of customers from Nghe An province came to see if the order of more than 100 million VND for an altar and some accompanying items that they ordered had been almost completed, in form and quality.
While a group of workers were wrapping goods to send to Quang Tri province for customers, other workers of Yen Kieu woodworking facility focused on splitting wood and making products to deliver to customers in time.

The production atmosphere is also vibrant at Tai Luan wood furniture facility. Ms. Nguyen Thi Luan (born 1980) - owner of Tai Luan wood furniture facility - said that this Tet holiday, consumption demand has nearly doubled compared to normal.
To meet market demand, Ms. Luan's facility requires 7 workers to work overtime at noon. For some stages, she hires workers in the craft village to perform at their homes.
There were also years when the economy was difficult, during Tet consumption was still low. However, this year, I see a fairly large demand for wooden household appliances. It must be because this year the real estate market is bustling, so many people sell land to build houses, then buy tables, chairs, and furniture to match the new house for luxury and spaciousness," Ms. Luan assessed.
According to Ms. Luan, currently there are large woodworking establishments here that have to work overtime at night to meet the needs of customers when Tet is approaching.
