On January 12, information from the Lao Cai Provincial Department of Finance, the unit has just issued a decision to sanction administrative violations against Viet-Trung Mineral and Metallurgy Co., Ltd. (VTM) for violating regulations in the field of investment.
According to the decision, Viet-Trung Mineral and Metallurgy Co., Ltd., headquartered in Tang Loong Industrial Park (Tang Loong commune, Lao Cai province), did not carry out procedures to adjust the Investment Registration Certificate in case the project adjustment changes the content of this certificate.
The above act violates point b, clause 2, Article 17 of Decree No. 122/2021/ND-CP of the Government on sanctioning administrative violations in the field of planning and investment. With this violation, the enterprise is administratively sanctioned with fines of 85 million VND.
In addition to the form of fines, Viet - Trung Mineral and Metallurgy Co., Ltd. is also forced to complete the procedures for adjusting the Investment Registration Certificate according to regulations.
The enterprise is responsible for reporting the results of implementing remedial measures to the Lao Cai Provincial Department of Finance; all related costs are self-paid by the enterprise.
In case the deadline is exceeded and the enterprise does not voluntarily implement it, it will be enforced according to regulations; and at the same time, it must pay an additional 0.05%/day on the total amount of fines not yet paid.
