In order to make the most of the favorable dry season for construction, Da Nang is focusing on speeding up many key infrastructure projects including: Investment project to build Lien Chieu port - the shared infrastructure part; The urgency of the defense strategy for military and people of Lien Chieu district, connecting the Hai Van Pass defensive area - Son Tra peninsula with local base area; Thanh Khe District Medical Center (phase 1); Project on renovating drainage and underground information systems, electric lighting on 4 roads in Noi Thi (Phan Chau Trinh, Le Loi, Hoang Dieu and Mr. Ich Khiem); Upgrade and renovate the park 29 March; New construction replaced classroom block - Hoa My Kindergarten (facility 1); Renovate and upgrade the inner roads in Thanh Khe and Lien Chieu districts.
In particular, according to the Da Nang City Statistics Office, the project to renovate the drainage system and lower cables on Phan Chau Trinh, Le Loi, Hoang Dieu and Ong Ich Khiem streets with a total length of 6.94km, an area of 143.130m2, maintaining the current road surface and sidewalks is being actively implemented. The project has a total investment of nearly 282 billion VND from the city budget and has been officially implemented since April. To date, the accumulated implementation volume is estimated at 6 billion VND.
The 29/3 Park Upgrade and Renovation Project with a total investment of nearly 673 billion VND. Based on the architectural planning adjustment plan with the idea of "The Peace Ring", the project is implemented on an area of nearly 19 hectares and officially implemented since April. Up to now, the accumulated implementation volume is estimated at 6.6 billion VND.
The city is also promoting the main water drainage project from the downstream of the high -tech drainage zone to the flood drainage canal of Hoa Lien commune. The project includes the canal and regulating lake, with a 1.64 km long canal, a northern canal of 0.574 km long, two regulatory lakes, horizontal drainage works, traffic, medium voltage lines, transformer stations, lighting and reimbursing irrigation channels. The total investment of the project is VND 817 billion, the volume implemented in the month is estimated at VND 37 billion.
Not only focusing on transportation and drainage infrastructure, Da Nang also focuses on investing in waste treatment systems. The Investment Project to build a wastewater collection system in Hoa Xuan area (Cam Le district) includes 25 self-ologous sewers, with a total length of more than 1.2 km; 78 wastewater separation wells. The project has a total investment of 420 billion VND, of which the construction package has a contract value of 358 billion VND. In 2025, the City People's Committee will allocate 110 billion VND to pay for construction volume and 12 billion VND to complete the wastewater collection pipeline project along the extended Tran Hung Dao Street.
The Cam Le Waste Transit Station project with a waste transit capacity of 200 tons/day is aimed at serving waste gathering and transit to Cam Le district and neighboring areas, aiming to synchronize and complete the waste collection network in the city, contributing to improving environmental sanitation and urban landscape is also being implemented. The total investment of the project is 137 billion VND, of which 72 billion VND is allocated from the provincial budget in 2025. To date, the accumulated implementation has reached 8 billion VND.
