Green digital transformation: Both a challenge and an opportunity
The forum with the theme “Green digital transformation (DT) – Driving force for economic and social development” was organized by Hai Phong City People’s Committee in coordination with Vietnam Software and Information Technology Services (VINASA).
Attending the event were Mr. Hoang Minh Cuong - Vice Chairman of Hai Phong City People's Committee; Mr. Ho Duc Thang - Deputy Director of the National Digital Transformation Department and many representatives and experts from ministries, branches, localities and enterprises.
According to Mr. Hoang Minh Cuong, the theme of the forum focuses on one of the most important and key factors of the transition process, which is green transition. This is both a challenge and an opportunity, a driving force for development.
Mr. Hoang Tuan Anh - Project Director of Meey Group - also emphasized that many localities have affirmed that "Innovation is not only a choice but an inevitable need".
According to him, digital transformation helps improve the quality of public services, improve the experience of people and businesses; promote new economic sectors based on digital platforms, enhance competitiveness and attract investors; and optimize urban management.
“To develop the urban economy, it is necessary to digitize, standardize data, automate each process as well as manage and operate the system. Technology, especially artificial intelligence (AI), plays a particularly important role in this issue,” said Mr. Hoang Tuan Anh, adding that with its strength in the field of proptech (real estate technology), many products in the ecosystem developed by Meey Group can participate with localities in this issue.

Citing an example from the latest planning lookup map platform Meey Map developed by Meey Group, Mr. Hoang Tuan Anh shared: Before deciding to buy, sell or invest in real estate, people often have to go to the land registration office to look up whether the real estate is subject to planning or not? This lookup usually takes 2-4 days, is time-consuming and costly. However, with Meey Map, people only need 2-3 seconds to grasp the current status of the land.
“Our system integrates annual land use planning maps, orientation land planning maps and construction planning maps (general planning, zoning planning, detailed planning). Digitizing the planning information lookup process helps people have accurate and updated information, helping them to be proactive in the investment, buying and selling process as well as stabilizing their housing,” Mr. Tuan Anh shared.
Another very proud AI application product of Meey Group mentioned by Mr. Hoang Tuan Anh is Meey Atlas - Smart digital map for Vietnamese people.
“Imagine, every day before going out for work or traveling, people need to plan their schedule by searching for information about the weather, air quality, traffic conditions, etc. Instead of opening many different separate applications, wasting more time, with Meey Atlas, users will be provided with all the above information,” said Mr. Tuan Anh.
Next, Meey Group's 3D tour creation application also received a lot of attention at the forum. This product helps users experience and visit virtual reality (VR/AR) from tourist attractions, relics to projects.
Not only that, the story of applying AI in "digitalizing" the real estate sector, Meey Group representative also made a mark when introducing the product Meey CRM - a specialized customer demand management application exclusively for real estate brokers.
